Remember that the SSC Aero TT set the world record for being the fastest car ever, at 254 mph that uses a Chevrolet small bloke V8? Well, now there's rumors that there's a new car that can go at about 260+ with a modified Corvette LS7 V8. I like the performance, but it is fugly. Here's the link to it

I just found some recent news from Cadilac. They're planning to halt production of the XLR due to low sales. If you don't know what a Cadillac XLR is, its just a luxury Corvette with a Cadillac logo. However, GM will still make the Corvette.

Cool!

Yeah, I always knew the XLR would be a bad idea. I mean, why get an XLR when you can go just as fast, and carry more people, in a CTS-V? Besides, the Corvette should remain unique among GM.

Also news, Chrysler is on the list of the 15 companies that might go out of buisness due to the economy.

So today is when GM and Chrysler have to report to the US government. We'll have to wait to see how that goes.

Recent news with GM and Chrysler. GM plans to either sell or disolve Saab, Saturn, and Hummer, leaving them with Chevrolet, Cadillac, Buick, GMC, and Pontiac to work with. Chysler plans to stop making the Aspen/Durango, PT Cruiser, and the Pacifica. However Chrysler may make the Durango again in the future.

Yeah, big moves. As for GM's plans to get rid off Hummer, Saab, and Saturn, they should have done that a long time ago.

If you're a fan of Camaros, especially the Z28 kind, you'll be dancing with joy when GM makes the Camaro Z28. Of course, you'll have to wait a few years till GM gets out of the mess by putting their bailout money to use or after they declare chapter 11 bankruptcy.

Well, lets say goodbye to Pontiac since GM has said it'll get rid of the brand like Hummer, Saturn, and Saab. Thankfully, GM will keep Chevrolet, Cadillac, GMC, and Buick.
